Encore Surfacing and Deck Estimates

Encore Surfacing just finished cleaning and prepping a brand new deck. The wood used was the exotic hardwoods that must be cleaned carefully and sealed as soon as possible. We used specialized cleaners, scrub brush and water from the faucet. High water pressure is never needed on new wood but it must be completely rinsed.

A bid was also given to repair an older deck, pressure wash and seal. This deck has an unfortunate common problem. It was built around three Oak trees. The space for the trunk was too small for normal growth and the trees were being damaged at the base and about 8 feet up by the shade structure. Luckily, the trees have shown no obvious signs of stress and should be fine after the repairs are completed. Also, the seating area and backrest will have to be sanded otherwise splinters will be found in an uncomfortable area of the body. :)
